    photos, as they are an important part of my description. The name "Luby" is written twice on the bat, along with No. "9" on the knob along with
    "M66"
    . This
    rare
    team-issued
    University of Oregon
    vintage baseball bat measures approximately
    34"
    in length. The bat is a
    Hillerich & Bradsby 125 Louisville Slugger
    with a
    "Powerized"
    marking. Also etched into the baseball bat is
    "Genuine Louisville Slugger"
    along with
    "University of Oregon"
    . A fellow eBayer contacted me and told me that based on the H&B stampings present on the handle, the bat originates to 1961-64. There is black tape wrapped around the bat's handle, and I can see a hairline crack present on both ends of the tape.

    : Oregon discontinued their baseball program in the early 1980's and resurrected it in 2009; I believe the bat originates to the 1961-64 era, based on the info. a fellow eBayer supplied me with. <>

    owned a sporting goods store here in

    back then and may have had a son who played for the Ducks. The offered bat is most definitely an
